The period between 1830 and 1860 was the heyday for weavers of the American coverlet. This popular, geometric pattern graces a series of nesting boxes, ideal for decorating or tastefully storing. Indigo was a very common color for most weavers, as it was inexpensive and unlike some home brews of dye, it was reliably permanent. Staying true to the era, our Coverlet Boxes alternate in hues of gold and indigo.
